Swan sailing yachts are built by Oy Nautor Ab. This Finnish company is located some 500km north of Helsinki and 400km south of the Arctic Circle on the Gulf of Bothnia. The region has a strong ship and boat building tradition stretching back over 400 years. Nautor's Swan Charter, Bareboat and crewed Swan charters from Nautor's own charter company .
Firstly on the drawing board, then at launch, and finally,
after close analysis by experts,
Swans are acknowledged to be the finest of all production sailing yacht.
Owning a Swan, built to a standard by which rivals are judged,
is a universal ambition only a few can fulfill.
Over the last 30 years Nautor has devoted considerable research
into better ways of building these yachts which every sailor aspires to own.
But while new Swans appear every year to take a place in the Swanline,
the classic attributes that made their predecessors so admired are retained.
Performance remains a goal, but safety and strength are paramount.
Today's Swans combine that 30-year tradition of comfort and seaworthiness
